The U.S. Occupational Government’s U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service conducted a Community Input meeting at Kula Elementary on Maui last night to get public feedback on a Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement (PEIS) in regards to 4 Wind Energy Projects. This particular study is on 3 endangered species: Opeapea (Hoary Bat), Nene (Goose), Uau (Petrel).

The Oahu meeting was held the day prior on May 21st, while the final meeting will be held on May 23rd at Naalehu Community Centre on Moku o Keawe. If you wish to submit testimony and/or learn more, please see the link below. All testimony must be submitted by June 10th, 2019.
